The view from the terrace Nearby there is a lake (in fact, several lakes), good for picnicking or general lazing about. Within 5 km you can also take a climb & visit the pre- historic caves, decorated with primitive art. Or you might prefer to just sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the view and the birds of prey wheeling and soaring above...

The Church Square This is where a lot of the local action takes place (it's a 50 metre walk from the front door). You can watch or participate in the 'paseo', the evening stroll taken by the citizens of Benalup and every other Spanish town. A good vantage point is the Bar Tato, right on the corner of the square. At various times there are local fiestas celebrating all kinds of religious or pagan events, including the annual running of the bulls through the streets.
